I became unreasonably interested in this phone booth. It is outside the Swan Motel on Nebraska Avenue in Tampa. I grew up in Tampa, and Nebraska Avenue was known as a "bad" neighborhood. Lots of drugs, hookers, and general urban blight. I would get rapid heartbeat and anxiety attacks any time I ended up in this area after dark.

As an adult, I walk and drive around here like it's nothing. Well, not quite nothing. Nebraska Avenue still has that end-of-the-line feeling to it.
