This shot is from when I was trying to be a serious payphone photographer. 21st Street and 29th Avenue in Astoria. 29th Avenue is one of those streets many lifelong Astorians will tell you does not exist in Astoria, but it does, as does 33rd Avenue. No 40th Street, though. That plagues my streetgrid sensibilities. Why is there no 40th Street in Astoria?
