Midtown Manhattan Payphone User. September, 1999.
It’s a Midtown Manhattan payphone user, from September, 1999, with an arrow for emphasis, in glorious 1.3 megapixel resolution courtesy of a Nikon Coolpix 900, my first digital camera. I remember that phone, near the Time & Life Building where I worked for a bunch of years. It vanished long ago, as did the old T&L Building, in name at least. No longer called the Time & Life, today my old corporate stomping ground is known simply as 1271 Avenue of the Americas.
