Payphone Gone

Yes, I am still here. I don’t post so much to the site these days since I lost my sponsorship, which brought in an amount of money that made it more than worth my time to keep the lights on. I continue to explore and study the past present and future of public telephony. But the matter has become too personal for me to share my discoveries. More on this in another posting, maybe. Or maybe not. Still, wherever I go I see them. Payphones are not dead yet. Here is a shot of the innards of a payphone enclosure minus the payphone, graffiti artistically swirled around what I interpret as eyes and a gasping mouth of a communications portal removed.
