The Savage Eye 1960 Phone Booth Scene
Barbara Baxley plays Judith X, or Judith X-McGuire, in this brooding film about a divorced woman living alone in 1950s Los Angeles. It’s a pretty intense film, a little self-absorbed, which incorporates a lot of documentary footage of Los Angeles street scenes from the era. The male voice is that of Gary Merrill, “The Poet”, who is never seen in the film.
