Phone Booth I, by HowNowVihao at DeviantArt
Red, White, and Light Purple seem to comprise the color theme for these two unnamed dancers occupying a duo of Manhattan payphone enclosures at Union Square in Manhattan. These are somewhat older photos, from 2010. Both payphones in these photos have been trashed and replaced by a single LinkNYC monolith.
The second photo, in which the dancer’s head is pressed against graffiti on the payphone enclosure’s ceiling, makes for an interesting juxtaposition of elegance and coarseness.
