The “Squeeze-Play”, as it was called, was the phone-booth-stuffing fad of the 1950s, made most famous by Life Magazine photographer Joe Munroe’s iconic image of 24 frat boys stuffed into a booth. This story from Nebraska shows just how far and wide the fad spread during those halcyon days of America.
