This is a test model, without the advertising panels that failed to meet revenue forecasts on LinkNYC. The little tablet looks kinda cute in the belly of this beast.
I thought I knew this area well enough but I never take the 7 train. From this jaunt I learned that the Hunters Point Avenue subway station does not actually deposit you on Hunters Point Avenue. Hunters Point Avenue is about a ½ mile from the 7 train Hunters Point Avenue station.

Not just loose screws, but what's with the rust already? What are those going to look like in a year or two?
Exactly. LinkNYC totems can look pretty shabby as it is with pealing paint and damaged screens. These things will start out as eyesores and evolve into even greater eyesores.
