Partially Melted Rotary Dial Phone - This picture of a partially melted telephone was taken at Miss Lyndonville Diner, 686 Broad Street, Lyndonville, VT. Apparently, this diner used to be a Sterling Diner, and suffered a fire in 1979. This was about all that remained, and the owners rebuilt around the shell of the old diner, taking the opportunity to expand the seating, saving their business. This phone hangs on the wall in the entryway.
