This payphone, once located near the Blackout Payphone, is gone, as are a number of other objects which once lined this curbside at 2927 41st Avenue at Queens Plaza.
Plaza Video, a smut shop seen in the background, has been replaced a couple of times since this picture was taken in November, 2006. At present the space is occupied by the Otro Rollo Tropical Night Club.
That is a payphone enclosure outside the Otro Rollo.
Most everything else here seems to be the same, though for better or worse changes are coming to this area in the form of a nearby park canopy oasis to be situated directly beneath the extremely, painfully, soul-crushingly loud N/W subway tracks seen overhead.
The two mailboxes appear to have been moved a few feet to the left. Their locations are 11101-0110 and 11101-0109
