New York’s MTA “On the Go Travel Station” machines are made by Intersection, the same company that controls the LinkNYC monopoly. So glitches should be expected. I couldn’t find a way to do anything meaningful through this but yesterday and the day before several stations I encountered allowed access to what looks like a field where I could have entered a website URL.

I don’t know but I had no luck getting anywhere with this. The touchscreen function seemed wack, with a screentap made on one spot registering at a seemingly random spot somewhere else on the screen.

But now I have to ask what it takes, besides a glitch, to summon this little bottom-of-the-screen portal on the MTA’s “On the Go Travel Station” screens. I got as far as getting a letter P in there but I have no idea how, or where it might have led.
