Patricia sent in this set of phone booths from the basement of the UBS building at Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan. The first pictures show these booths with phones inside, the second half of pictures show the booths with the phones removed. These booths were removed just a couple of days after these pictures were taken in early 2009. I used to love these Manhattan phone booths. I am pretty certain these were the last of the Rockefeller Center phone booths, though a number of payphones still survive. UPDATE: April 1, 2010: I added a couple of old pictures I took from inside and outside these phone booths in March 2007. UPDATE: March, 2013: Added a couple of pictures of these phone booths from January, 1999.
